I booked a removal only three days in advance with Dave and they were able to offer me a great service and accommodated my needs. Great people, very professional. We contracted Dave's Transport for our house move from Yellowwood park in Durban to Stellenbosch, which included moving a huge number of boxes, large furniture (and an antique piano from a separate storage facility) to our new home. Joe fully organised our move and was able to adjust details with us to ensure we got the right type of boxes for our heavy stuff at our preferred time. He and his team arrived bang on time despite the heavy rainfall, were really kind and friendly, and got straight to work. No fuss, no drama, exactly what we wanted, and excellently priced. We were so relieved to see the truck leave for……The delivery three days later went without a problem, nothing scratched or broken. What a pleasure to see such professionals at work. Dave and his team came on time, and quickly and efficiently loaded the truck up! They were very friendly and helpful and all our belongings were moved safely. Joe from Dave's transport, was in charge of our move from Malmesbury to Pietermaritzburg. We have not done a move for years and were quite nervous about this exercise. Joe dealt with our move from start to finish, and what a very helpful and pleasant guy! He assisted us with so much of the planning part. On the day itself we were just kind of by standers because Joe and his very friendly team took over and wrapped and packed like real professional movers. The off-loading went as smooth as the loading and with the team's help all the furniture was neatly arranged in the new house! If ever necessary again, we will definitely use them again. This is what I call great service-I had to coordinate my move with Dave's Transport in Somerset West from Pretoria as I could only arrive in Somerset West on the evening prior to my move. They were able to work around my approximates when it came to the various items and number of boxes that were in storage. They did their best to be flexible with my time needs which worked out great.
