Dave's Transport is an excellent removal company. The friendly owner was willing to come out promptly and give a quote in person along with some good advice. Joe and his team from Dave's transport were brilliant. So helpful and professional. We moved from East London to Blouberg, Cape Town and assisted us from the very first phone call in such a professional manner. The preparations on the day of loading were impressive - the way all the furniture were neatly wrapped in blankets and pallet wrap, and secured in the truck. Off-loading was so quick and they were determined to get furniture where we wanted it, even though our new property had a few tricky corners to fit things around! Really impressed. They say in life, moving house is one of the most stressful events you will experience but the team from Dave's Transport made it smooth and even fun... It removed much of the anticipated stress. Dave did our local move and Joe did my son's long distance move from Cape Town to Durban. They worked hard and fast. They took real genuine care of our items and were just a pleasure to work with. They love their job and it really shows.  When I spoke with Joe, he tells me the men are a brilliant team and he is delighted to have them working for him. How unique!!!! I think there is much to be learned from this earned respect on both sides. We will never move again (last famous words) but if we do, then we would ask Dave and Joe to help, meanwhile if you need help to move we cannot recommend them highly enough. Our move was out of a 3rd floor flat with no lift in the Strand to our new town house in the Strand. Dave and his team did a great job carrying everything out carefully and deliver all without a scratch! They looked after our belongings and wrapped everything so securely. I was able to book at a late stage for a removals service with Dave and Joe. They answered all of my questions very quickly and to the point. Joe was in charge of the move from Malmesbury to Ladysmith.The packing of all the crockery and glassware proved their high quality of work. Not a single piece broke during the move. Joe and the team of 8 men were amazing! From start to finish! They took care of our move from Amanzimtoti to Green Point. Could not fault them in all the aspects of our move. Dave's Transport did a great job moving our stuff from a storage in Somerset West to our new house. It turned out that the truck was too small for the amount of stuff we had in storage, but that didn't stop the team - They had a big trailer at the back of the truck and brought all our stuff safely to the house.
