I am so pleased with the service from Dave's transport they gave us on Saturday 16 March with our move from Muizenberg to the Strand. They were there 15 minutes early and got everything done within six hours just as expected. The four gentlemen that helped us out we're very personable, friendly and very nice, they made you feel like they were your friends helping you move and it didn't feel awkward having these men in your house. It was rewarding knowing that Dave was there to supervise the entire move. They never lost their energy they came in with. When we made the decision to move a friend of ours recommended Dave's Transport and we were not disappointed. We moved from Blouberg in Cape Town to Queensborough in Durban. The moving team under guidance of Joe arrived early and they mapped out a plan which worked out great. They had plenty of supplies to finish the odds and ends that we could not finish and all of our items were handled with care. They finished the move well within the quoted timeframe which is amazing considering all of the stuff they had to load up. We even received a follow up call from the Dave checking on our satisfaction level with the move. I am so happy this company was recommended to me because they made the stress of moving go as well as possible. I highly recommend this company if you are planning a move. I recently had this company move 30 pieces of furniture and 60 boxes from my house in George to my daughter's house in Amanzimtoti about 1000 km away. Joe, from Dave's Transport and his team showed up, quickly wrapped the furniture in professional vinyl wrap, moved the furniture out in no time and into the truck. Moving is always stressful, however Joe and his crew made it very easy when we moved from Plett to Camps Bay. They were prompt, professional and delivered superior customer service. Floors/ carpets at the new residence were recently cleaned; they placed matts down to ensure foot traffic residue was minimal. Fast, efficient, and friendly! Moving with a four-year-old can be trying, the team from Dave's Transport was personable and patient with her and myself. It was my first move in a while, as I moved from Somerset West to Hermanus. They introduced themselves upon arrival making her and I feel comfortable, they were very clear and explained the process. They were very helpful with unhooking my appliances for me and dismantling my beds without a complaint, said this is what they do, help people. Dave who supervises the move himself and his team worked diligently and carefully, they removed doors to get the furniture out so it was not ruined. Dave in the office was fantastic in organising everything for our move from Pietermaritzburg to Worcester. On the removal day, Joe's  team arrived with a fully equipped vehicle and everything went without a hitch as they wrapped everything in the blankets for maximum protection. After searching and reading many Moving company reviews, consumer reports for local and long-distance removers and packers, finally we discovered Dave's Transport. Dave did the local move for us in Somerset West and Joe did the long distance move for my son to Bloemfontein. Thanks for moving and completing a good removal. All the packaging materials including wrapping papers were supplied on time and more were delivered upon request. The removal staff were very well organized.
