Dave's Transport delivered an excellent service. First of all, I got quotes from several moving companies and they provided the best feedback and price by far. I asked them if they could get to my apartment at a certain time, and they even called me to let me know they were on their way and showed up right on time. They were super-fast - and efficiently pack up all of my furniture (I also had a lot of fragile, mirrored furniture). They did an excellent job and put everything back together for me at the new location and placed where I wanted it. Would use them again any day! Super nice and professional. We used Dave's Transport for our move from Umhlanga to Durbanville. They provided a reasonable estimate based on the size of the move and was willing to accommodate additional items on an ad hoc basis. The movers under the supervision of Joe were very professional and time efficient. They are also great with tools and were able to figure out how to assemble/dissemble furniture without any manual. Their excellent way of wrapping furniture like the fridges and washing machines with blankets and pallet wrap prevented any scratches - well done! They were flexible with the schedules to off load as we had to wait for the keys at our new house longer than expected. Overall, money very well spent. We recommend these guys to all our friends. Can't say enough about how happy I am with Dave's Transport and especially Joe who took care of our move from Groot Brakrivier to Howick. On the day of my move they showed up 30 minutes earlier. I had a well - trained crew - to wrap and prepare the furniture for the loading. These guys were extremely organized, careful, pleasant, and very fast! Excellent service from Joe from Dave's Transport!! He and his team totally exceeded our expectations for our long distance move from Yellowwood Park, Durban  to Stellenbosch . A super friendly crew, professional, well- organized and happy to please the customer! They prepared and loaded the contents of our house in less than five hours and were ready to go shortly after 14:00. They took great care of our belongings and made sure to point out anything out of the ordinary they had noticed with our furniture before loading.
