We were worried about having to move in the middle of the coronavirus chaos but Dave's Transport was perfect. They were fast with replies and accommodated every request we made. They will break down and build your bed, wrap your furniture and have all the equipment you need. We did what we could to pack neatly and wrapped a few things and they took over from there. They showed up on time, they were friendly, and took care of all our belongings. We literally sat back and watched them systematically load and eventually offload at our new house. They were great with communication along the way and moved everything so quick. I would not hesitate to use them again and will be referring all my friends to them as well. Thank you Dave and team! These guys were great! I had a fairly easy move (1bedroom, one person) and I had a lot packed myself prior to the move.  Dave and his two friendly movers took over when they arrived in a real professional manner and made me feel comfortable that they were fully in charge in getting things done in a timely manner, which they certainly did. On arrival at my new apartment, they also asked me where I wanted things when they carried them in instead of just dumping them (I live alone, so this was very much appreciated). Dear Dave and Joe, everything about our experience with you guys was fantastic. From the initial contact with Dave until Joe took over to execute the move. We moved from Scottburgh to Constantia in Cape Town. Joe and his friendly and well behaved crew showed up on time, were very thorough when wrapping our antique pieces and all of the other items, and made sure to be as quick and efficient as possible.  We had some heavy items and we honestly expected the crew to take strain, but they handled like pro's! Hi Dave, as usual you provided a brilliant service.  This is the fourth move with Dave's Transport and they have been good to us all the time!  They were responsive and handled everything in a great way as we moved during the ongoing pandemic. With all the protocols in place and all wearing masks and sanitizing regularly. Dave was also kind enough to add a couple of extra boxes of our stuff and one or two small pieces of furniture to the moving list as I had forgotten to add them for no extra charge. Dear Dave, you guys are amazing. I honestly will never call another moving company and will recommend them to everyone I know. They were so accommodating. They moved us out of the old place on Saturday, held our stuff overnight as we had suddenly issues to move in on the same day into our new home. So Dave made an exceptional arrangement to keep our furniture overnight until the offloading was done on Sunday! They were on time both days, they were very courteous and respectful with our things, and we enjoyed talking to them. They were not in a rush but were very quick with the move. We love these guys! Dave and his full crew showed up at our apartment in Cape Town where we lived on the second floor with no elevator, but that wasn't a problem for these guys. Straight up pros, great workers who never complained once, they worked like machines. They got the job done in a few short hours and were on their way. Our compliments to Joe from Dave's Transport. He must be one of the superstars of movers in South Africa. From the word go we were at ease with the friendly manner of communication over emails and telephone. As promised all items were securely wrapped in blankets and wrapped for the move. We re-located from Saldanha to Jeffery's Bay. All our items arrived safely in Jeffery's two days later with no damage and not a single broken dish. The guys who packed and delivered our belongings were also friendly and handled our belongings carefully while working at a good pace under the watchful eye of Joe. Our move with Dave was an excellent job from estimating to packing and to delivery. The household items were packed by Dave and one of his crew members while the rest of the crew prepared the furniture/bulky items for loading. Dave and his team were extremely careful and professional. They handled everything so carefully and made an extremely stressful situation for us quite manageable. They were on time and the estimates they gave were accurate. If there were any miscellaneous items (in terms of cost) they were very quick to give me a head's up during the run up to the actual move.
